About this site.
It is set up so that trusted others may also have a site within the really cool domain name of pagans.us
For example, let’s just imagine that I visit here and have a Druid grove which is called Lightfoot. I’m a decent enough sort, so I write to the site-tender and say I would love to have a site called lightfoot. I convince the tender. What I end up getting is an email address, and with that email address I now have permission to set up one OR PERHAPS MORE really cool sites, such as:
Everything is experimental at this point, so do expect changes as pagans.us progresses. The way it is set up is that anyone who has an email address from specified domain names, such as @pagans.us or @priestess.us or several others, is allowed that kind of trusted and powerful access. The vision is that as I find people who appear worthy of trust, I can easily provide them with an email address of @pagans.us .
Until some more experimenting is done, I am only going to tell a few people how to contact me for an email address.
UPDATE: GOOD NEWS!
The first round of testing is completed. The results are excellent.
It appears we will be able to manage this in secure fashion, with a process that is simple enough. The process is: Only people with allowed domain names as part of their email address will be allowed to register and use the site. If a person does not have one of the allowed domain names as part of their email address, they can request a @pagans.us email address via our Contact form. As soon as the new email address is provided, they will be able to register with the new email address, and as soon as they have an @pagans.us email address, not only will they be able to register immediately, but they will also be able to create their own website hosted here.
